OUR WEEKEND...

We started off at Kashami Pier looking for fish

before our friends arrived.

Behold, our future!

Of course Lola couldn't go a day without holding baby Matthew

("Ma-sue" is how Lola says his name)

Then the dads and girls went for a walk.

Then Lola took her turn as an angler.

She was a natural. She didn't catch anything but she sure had fun

and she looked like a pro.

After a bit of fishing we made S'mores over the BBQ. Lola got about 3 bites of a s'more and she loved it. It was a special daddy/daughter moment and mom was a pushover.

It was a fun day for being outside, then it started raining and we went home. 

The rainy season is here in Japan so a day without downpours is a nice break.

We were glad to get outside for the day!
